Getting off for a while

This is from the same over 10 hour journey I made on snowmobile in Mars 2004. Here we are getting off the snowmobiles for a while, and I went for a little walk just to get my feet moving - and too take a picture of the whole group with the majestetic mountains in the bacground. We are on top of a glacier as well..

The weather was quite cloudy here and there was snow in the air and the daylight had just been visible for 2 weeks here, so there was not much light and contrast to drive in this nearly all-white landscape. I tried to get the mountains a bit more sharp in the edges, but not as much as I wanted too..

Any suggestions and comments for improvements would be highly appreciated!!

I'm still searching for more of my pictures from this marvellous adventure last year....
